If you see the error loading shared libraries message, install the package it's complaining about. So, I started it from the terminal and it showed me this error:Īnydesk: error while loading shared libraries: libpangox-1.0.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory You can install it through your terminal application. When I tried to run AnyDesk from the system menu, it didn't start. I think you already have some idea about it. Step 1) Update Apt Package Index, Login to Ubuntu 20.04 LTS system and open the terminal and run beneath command to update apt package index. I am not going to show the steps to use AnyDesk. Once installed, find it in the system menu and start from there. Installing AnyDesk in Ubuntu Software Center The Software Center app will open and you can install it from there. Right click on the deb file and open it with software center

Double click on it or right click it and open it with Software Installation. It will download the AnyDesk application DEB file. You should now have AnyDesk opened on your Ubuntu device. Once you see it, click its icon ( 2.) to open the application. You can install it via your terminal application. As you start typing, you should eventually see AnyDesk as an option. Install AnyDesk Remote Desktop on Ubuntu Linux, AnyDesk is available as native. When you click the download button, it gives you options for various Linux distributions. With the activities screen open, use the search bar in the top middle of the screen ( 1.) to search for AnyDesk.
